Yōkai Money to drop ‘The Vanguard Collection’ on the Blind Boxes Marketplace

Yōkai Money, a Binance Smart Chain (BSC) platform with a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace is set to drop a series of NFTs titled ‘The Vanguard Collection’ featuring Japanese Yōkai-themed collectibles.

A Yōkai is a state of being, and a powerful force that can exist in Gods, or rest as a spirit in ordinary humans. Those following the path of Yōkai are determined to achieve a higher state of living, and a better, fulfilling life, analogous to the perspective and the conviction found in the crypto community today. Yōkai.Money aims to encapsulate this life altering movement through this one of its kind project.

Yōkai borrows its name from the class of demons and supernatural creatures illustrated in Japanese folklore. The word is a combination of the characters 妖 (yō–attractive, bewitching, calamity) and 怪 (kai–mystery, wonder).

Yōkai is the brainchild of Los Angeles-based creator Jon Snack, a multidisciplinary artist and architectural designer. His fascination for the interaction between man and his environment led him to pursue architecture, which in turn influenced his art when he decided to create the story around the character, Yōkai.
