The response to the Get Minted Challenge : Ocean Protocol has been phenomenal. Now it is time for the BLES community to vote on the winners of this NFT art competition. Creators and collectors will have the opportunity to win OCEAN and BLES token rewards.
Voting kickoff: Tuesday, July 6 at 13:00 UTC
Voting ends: Friday, July 9 at 12:59 UTC
Voting rules
- Voting will occur on-chain for transparency
- Users that are currently staking BLES directly on the Blind Boxes platform are eligible to vote
- During the voting days, stakers that participate in the voting process are eligible to earn an extra 50% more BLES staking rewards
- The staked amount determines the users’ voting power on the platform (1 BLES staked = 1 vote)
BLES and OCEAN Rewards
A BLES voting rewards pool has been created for this event. As outlined in previous posts, token rewards will be distributed to:
- Creators of the artworks that receive the most votes (top 3)
- Users that vote for the creators that are in the cohort of winners
- Collectors that purchase NFTs from this special collection
Ocean Protocol will contribute 7,000 OCEAN to the prize pool & 3,000 OCEAN to the voters.
- First place — 3,000 OCEAN
- Second place — 2,000 OCEAN
- Third place — 1,000 OCEAN
- Community Favorite (as determined by Twitter poll conducted by @oceanprotocol) — 500 OCEAN
Note: The Community Favorite winner cannot be one of the prize winners. The poll will be conducted on July 10th, after the prize winners are announced.
Each winner will also receive the direct proceeds from the sale of their artwork minted into an NFT. Winning entries will be minted through our partner Nifty Kit.
Once minted these NFTs will automatically be included in the Get Minted: Ocean Protocol Edition Blind Box collection drop #BLESgetminted
