Blind Boxes Monthly Review August 2021

The month of August just flew by as the Blind Boxes team added new product updates, welcomed new talent, forged new partnerships, and launched a new contest. As we embark upon a busy September, here is a recap of August 2021.

Launches & Updates

BLES Vaults I, our 90-day liquidity staking program ended on August 8, and its popularity encouraged us to launch a fresh iteration with BLES Vault II.

We announced the winners of the Bug Bounty initiative to reward the detailed and thoughtful responses we received, which helped us uncover vulnerabilities, glitches, UI roadblocks or missing functionality on the Blind Boxes dApp.

Our team also presented an updated roadmap, which highlighted our key achievements and milestones over the last few months, as well as our trajectory in the near future.

Blind Boxes continues to attract talented creators from across the world.

24-year-old Argentine artist Alan Volper a.k.a. Volpart, one of the rare breeds of creators who offers physical pieces with his NFTs dropped his collection which sold out in no time.

He then launched a new collection titled Volpunks.

His fellow Argentine, mixed-media artist Mai Solsona also launched her NFT collection on Blind Boxes titled ‘Seekers’, which includes physical canvas pieces signed by her.

Talented photographer Dusty Kessler teamed up with Jacob Savern a.k.a. JSEV, a marine turned artist to drop a collection titled ‘Away Messages’ on our platform.

We were thrilled with our collab with Polygon Punks, the world’s first Punks on the Polygon (Matic) Network. Their team dropped four collections of uber rate Punks on the Blind Boxes Marketplace.

Partnerships

Our partnership with Netvrk, a cutting-edge blockchain project in the Metaverse will facilitate the sale of select land parcels as well as prime in-game assets to be sold as NFTs on the Blind Boxes Marketplace.

Alium Finance will bundle exciting characters and in-game assets from their upcoming VR/AR-enabled blockchain game and drop a series of exclusive collections on the Blind Boxes Marketplace.

To encourage more artists to launch their NFT collections on the Polygon Network, we pushed a two-week joint marketing collab with Polygon and Charged Particles, where the latter offered a free minting service on its platform.

Contests

Our contest, Get Minted: Popcorn Edition with a ‘Popcorn Saves The Planet’ theme went live on August 25 for a period of 21 days, with exciting rewards in store for the winners, as well as voters.

BLES Buzz

Our co-founder & CEO, Anita Angelica Moore hosted Harrison Seletsky, Communications Lead at NFTrade for an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session in the Blind Boxes OFC Telegram Channel. The focus of this session was to answer questions regarding the upcoming Blind Boxes NFT fam on their platform.
