Blind Boxes Announces Strategic Partnership With e-Money

Blind Boxes, the world’s first gamified aggregator for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is continuing its relentless pursuit of strategic partnerships within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem, to enhance the user experience for its community. As such, the team is pleased to announce a collaboration with e-Money, a Danish blockchain project built on Cosmos.

How It Works

e-Money issues asset backed (by bank deposits), interest bearing stable coins such as eEUR (Euro), eDKK (Danish Krone), eNOK (Norwegian Krone), eSEK (Swedish Krona) and eCHF (Swiss Franc) for the European market, with a host of additional currencies pegged for release as well. Furthermore, the fidelity and transparency of these stable coins is ensured by Ernst & Young through quarterly Proof of Funds.

Holders of e-Money’s suite of stable coins benefit from value increases during periods of positive interest rate, and are protected from peg breaks during times of negative interest rates.

Another key feature of e-Money’s protocol is its interoperability with multiple blockchains. e-Money has already integrated with Ethereum with several more such as Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain and Elrond in the pipeline.

The strategic collaboration with e-Money will enable Blind Boxes to explore e-Money’s suite of asset backed, interest bearing stable coins. Access to these stable coins will accelerate adoption amongst their European user base, who would look to purchase Blind Boxes in their native currencies. Moreover, the partnership will also provide awareness to each other’s communities and respective projects.
